Terms of Use
The terms for using REPLAY, including REPLAY Pro and the free trial.
Effective October 2, 2026
Agreement
By downloading or using REPLAY, you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”), which governs your license to use the app. If anything in these Terms conflicts with the EULA, the EULA controls. REPLAY is designed and built by Joseph Rochlin (Jöí Fabü) (“we”, “us”).
What REPLAY does
REPLAY organises and plays videos from your own Photos library on iPhone and Apple TV. It doesn’t provide movies or shows of its own. Automatic features, including sorting by file name, artwork and details from TheTVDB, scene picking, intro detection and subtitles, can make mistakes, and you can change their results in the app.
REPLAY Pro
- REPLAY is used with a REPLAY Pro plan: a Yearly subscription (with a 7-day free trial for eligible new customers), a Monthly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. One purchase covers REPLAY on iPhone and Apple TV with the same Apple Account.
- With a free trial, you won’t be charged until it ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you won’t be charged at all.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel a subscription any time in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; REPLAY Pro continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- If you buy Lifetime while a trial or subscription is active, cancel the subscription in Settings to avoid being charged for it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your videos
Your videos are yours, and they stay in your own iCloud Photos. You’re responsible for having the right to keep and watch the videos you add, and REPLAY doesn’t grant you any rights to other people’s work. REPLAY can only play videos your device can play; protected (DRM) videos and some formats aren’t supported.
Apple services and TheTVDB
Playback on Apple TV and syncing between devices rely on Apple’s iCloud and iCloud Photos, which are provided by Apple under its own terms. TV and movie information is provided by TheTVDB, which is responsible for its accuracy and availability.
Acceptable use
Don’t use REPLAY to break the law or anyone’s rights, or try to copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Disclaimer
REPLAY is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those in the EULA, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losing videos or data stored in services we don’t control. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date, and continuing to use REPLAY means you accept it.
